The past 6 months have been like a whirlwind!  The Spirit has been moving in tremendous ways!

As you may know, my worldly skill set revolves around web based technology, sales and marketing for the past two decades.  Over the last 2-3 years though, there seemed to be a conflict going on about how I was applying that skill set in my life.  Through hindsight, it became clear that God intended me to have these gifts to further His Kingdom here on Earth, not just to make money and have fun.  ;0)

When we start uncovering and using our talents, it’s real easy to forget who gave them to us.  I was in just such a boat!  I’m sure a lot of people can relate to this and I pray you lean hard on your Heavenly Father for the answer, just as I did and the Word declares, in prayer and meditation.

So I set off in prayer and meditation to find out what, or rather HOW, God wanted me to use the talents He gave me.  As I began to communicate more with God on the matter, He brought me closer to a man I’ve been working with, Michael Eilermann, on Atlanta Christians in Business Network (ACIBN) for over 7 years.   As we joined in prayer and meditation, it became clear that we were being asked to transition the refined concept of ACIBN into a full blown website that would bring the body of Christ together not just in person, but virtually as well.

Enter G6ten (Galatians 6:10) The Body of Christ Online!

God had given us the name G6ten to play with and meditate on for nearly a year; and then something really awesome happened… this February (2010), God straight up lit the fire under me to get me moving on this website.  It wasn’t like a dad saying, “hey son, go do this please.”,  it was more like, “do this, NOW!”

After just 2 months of focused planning and development, I launched the first release of the G6ten website.  Since then (April 1 2010), God has been bringing the concepts for upgrades and enhancement and I’ve been rolling them out as quickly as possible.  The last set of upgrades were rolled out last night (May 18, 2010).

G6ten is a website for Christians to work together as One Body in Christ, regardless of their gender, race, creed, culture, denomination, and this summer, language.  Non believers will be able to come and see the body of Christ in action and become “virtually grafted” into the vine, because there is only one doctrine G6ten promotes and that’s Christ!  Guest Members to have Free Access for life.

So, in conclusion, if you are a Christian, join G6ten and start interacting with the Body Online, it’s free.  Additional features are simply unlocked when you upgrade.

I give God the thanks and praise for every single ounce of idea and action that resulted in this wonderful opportunity for the Body of Christ to come together online and off.

This is not a post about 2012, though I did go see it while I was in SC and it was a sore loser, save “most” of the effects.  Flee from the deception to come surrounding the return of Christ!

I have been in this flesh long enough to know I don’t know much, but what I do know is what the Father says in His Word about it.  He gives us instructions on planning our paths, seeking, planting, and much more.  All this of course, is to be mingled with the counsel of the Father (in Word and Spirit).

Here are some tips for your planning and seeking:

• take 5-10 minutes every day and read verse by verse the bible.
  • “Proverbs” is a great place to begin if you have never read the bible.
  • Read in a place by yourself.
• spend 5-10 minutes every day in prayer (speaking in your mind) to the Father.
  • Be alone and meditate when you pray.
  • Repent, Ask, Find, Triumph  (RAFT)
• if you have more time, or find yourself bored, do one of the above.

By blocking out time and following your plan, you will find yourself more at peace and connected in the spirit than ever before.  Obviously, some people will have a larger appetite, so just schedule more time in and commit to it.

If it be in the Father’s will, I plan to be bringing you weekly bible studies, networking and video tutorials in January 2010 via GoChrist.org and other venues.  I will keep you posted as things progress!

I look forward to keeping in touch as we draw near to the conclusion of the matter concerning 2012 and many other things.  Don’t get too excited or hyped up over any “good news” to come, save the good news of Jesus Christ.

Come learn of the famine that is facing us in this final generation. Not a famine for bread or water, but rather a famine for hearing the words of God!  It’s no surprise, as it was written of long ago.  Christ has foretold us all things.

This was a message circulated through one of the many wonderful internet groups with which I associate. I have posted it for your edification in the Spirit of our Lord, Jesus Christ. It was an original work written by G. D. Watson (1845-1924).

If God has called you to be really like Jesus, He will draw you to a life of crucifixion and humility, and put upon you such demands of obedience, that you will not be able to follow other people, or measure yourself by other Christians, and in many ways He will seem to let other good people do things which He will not let you do.

“Other Christians and ministers who seem very religious and useful may push themselves, pull wires, and work schemes to carry out their plans, but you cannot do it; and if you attempt it, you will meet with such failure and rebuke from the Lord as to make you sorely penitent.

“Others may boast of themselves, of their work, of their success, of their writings, but the Holy Spirit will not allow you to do any such thing, and if you begin it, He will lead you into some deep mortification that will make you despise yourself and all your good works.

“Others may be allowed to succeed in making money, or may have a legacy left to them, but it is likely God will keep you poor, because He wants you to have something far better than gold, namely, a helpless dependence on Him, that He may have the privilege of supplying your needs day by day out of an unseen treasury.

“The Lord may let others be honored and put forward, and keep you hidden in obscurity, because He wants you to produce some choice, fragrant fruit for His coming glory, which can only be produced in the shade. He may let others be great, but keep you small.

“He may let others do a work for Him and get the credit of it, but He will make you work and toil on without knowing how much you are doing; and then to make your work still more precious, He may let others get the credit for the work which you have done, and thus make your reward ten times greater when Jesus comes.

“The Holy Spirit will put a strict watch over you, with a jealous love, and will rebuke you for little words and feelings, or for wasting your time, which other Christians never seem distressed over. So make up your mind that God is an infinite Sovereign, and has a right to do as He pleases with His own.

“He may not explain to you a thousand things which puzzle your reason in His dealings with you. But if you absolutely sell yourself to be His…slave, He will wrap you up in a jealous love, and bestow upon you many blessings which come only to those who are in the inner circle.

“Settle it forever, then, that you are to deal directly with the Holy Spirit, and that He is to have the privilege of tying your tongue, or chaining your hand, or closing your eyes, in ways that He does not seem to use with others.

“Now when you are so possessed with the living God that you are, in your secret heart, pleased and delighted over this peculiar, personal, private, jealous guardianship and management of the Holy Spirit over your life, you will have found the vestibule of Heaven.”

“And you shall be holy to Me, for I the Lord am holy, and have separated you from the peoples, that you should be Mine.” Leviticus 20:26

“I am the Lord your God, who has separated you from the peoples.” Leviticus 20:24

“For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? ?And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.

“As God has said: ‘I will dwell in them and walk among them.
I will be their God, and they shall be My people.’

“Therefore ‘Come out from among them and be separate,’ says the Lord. ‘Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters,’ says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:14-18

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

As it is written:
‘For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.’

‘Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.’

‘For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.’ Romans 8:35-39

In day to day life, I try to think about things from the Father’s perspective. I’m not talking about a flesh and bone father, but the Father of our souls. It’s a battle though.

The flesh is continually at odds with the spirit – but one thing always helps bring me back to focus.

My Kids

Being a father myself, I tend to be a very loving yet strong and stable helper for my children. Just like the Father who wrote His law for man and for the spirit, whereby we could rest sure in the eternal salvation presented therein.

They whine and complain when I tell them they can’t have something. They try to ask my wife for something I’ve already said no to. Much like when the Father is trying to guard us from harm, but “WE WANT IT!”, or we try to go about getting it “our OWN way”.

They demand so much and yet, when they show the smallest act of love and charity, or they speak with clarity and respect in public, I’m reminded of just how much I love them and how long I am willing to suffer for their sakes. So too does the Father smile down on us when we present Him with these works.

When my kiddos mess up, I require that they repent to whomever the offense was against immediately. So also, when Christ paid the price for our sins, He required us to acknowledge our sins and repent.

There is so much wisdom to behold as a man in the role of a father. We all fall short, but at least do your very best to set forth a good example, encourage and love on your spouse and children and enjoy the fruits the Father has given you.

I hope you got a chance to lift up a father on Father’s Day and I hope you took a moment to give thanks and praise to the Father of our souls.

When we get married, we’re literally joining up our spiritual energy.  In this process we begin to war even more with the carnal things of this world and specifically our flesh.  This is especially the case when a new couple finds that they are unequally yoked (another subject altogether, reserved for another post).

These flesh desires are the most common reasons for separation and divorce, so they warrant some discussion.  These include, but are certainly not limited to: finances, status, security, possessions, etc.

My wife and I started experiencing this battle about 3 months into our marriage and, thankfully at that time, we were reading the Word together on a regular basis.   As a result, we would remind each other, with particular sayings, to “snap us out” of the flesh and back into our spiritual walk.

I wanted to share a few in hopes that you can open up with your spouse, be certain that your yoke is indeed equal and ensure that things of this world will not tear down that which God has put together in your marriage.

“We are about inwardly things, not outwardly things.”

“Who are you fighting?”

“We are in the world, not of the world.”

“We walk in the spirit.”

“Faith is belief in things unseen, but hoped for.”

“You are my gift from the Father.”

“The beginning of wisdom is to Love God.”

“Acknowledge God and He will direct your paths.”

“Your soul is precious.”

“This flesh is only temporary.”

“We already have the victory in Christ.”

Never forget, it is the things that come out of our mouths that defile us.  So, be sure that you repent to your spouse for the negative words you utter.  Our egos need not participate in this exchange.

One more note about my marriage in particular, that I pass on as a recommendation for newlyweds.  Get on the same page early on in your marriage, even if you have semi-heated discussions about your differences.  Once you are both in agreement that you love God and His Christ more than each other, it will lay a foundation that can always be restored with humility, repentance and the subsequent forgiveness.

Honestly, when was the last time you paid for a hug from a loved one?  Or a compliment from a stranger?

Chances are, never!

This may seem like an overwhelmingly basic concept, but thing this way with me for a moment.  Do you give your love away?  Are you passing out hugs to loved ones, or paying compliments to strangers?

The list of best things in life that are absolutely free, is absolutely astounding!

Did you realize that you have the power to brighten someones day?  You better believe it!

In an economic season of trial for some, many are paving a path to success and longevity.  Why is that, do you think?  I bet those folks are more worried about giving away their free “gifts” than what they will receive in return.

More often than not it’s how we percieve a thing that dictates how we react or interact with it.  That directly correlates to mental programming.  I’m sure you’ve heard that one before, right?

What are you programming yourself with?

Are you of the school of thought that says everything in this world is mine to give freely?  Or are you the type to think, what can I get free out of this world?  Think about it, do some soul searching and you may find that you are lacking something.  A precious catalyst that will unlock worlds of abundance in your life and business.

There was a time when I was worried, constantly, about how I could make things happen – how I could rake in the dough – and while I am still very much an entrepreneur and earning an income that keeps my wife home so we can play with our children rather than slaving away and never spending time together, it was the change in my mental process that I’d like to point out to you.

Back then I was full of fear, convinced I had nothing to offer the world, and that, my friends, is traveling down a slippery slope to destruction.  Once I was awakened to Christ, who is the living word of God, all thing started to become clear.  Now, here I stand – though it is never all pearls and cake – willing and able to give the best things in life away for free!

Think about it, it will change your life!
